Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How many players are on the site at the same time?

A. We can and have run games of up to 100 players. However, most group sizes range between 5 to 20, and we do not actively try to fully book our facilities as we like to keep in direct contact and in control of our players, providing a personal service

Q. I have a date in mind, but not sure of total number of players, what do I do?

This is not a problem. Just book in the players your are sure of with a £10 per player deposit, and provisionally book in the remainder. We will contact you before fully booking the site and give you the opportunity to confirm your provisional bookings.

Q. What about the weather?

Our experience tells us that playing paintball is fun in virtually any type of weather. Should it be raining, we have covered seated areas for breaks between games. If it’s cold, running around the woods all day keeps you warm. The only weather that makes paintballing a bit uncomfortable sometimes is when it’s really hot.

Q. How much booking notice is required?

We suggest you book as early as possible. However, if we are not fully booked you can usually book within a few days for a weekend date, but two weeks notice is needed for weekday bookings.

Q. Is a deposit needed?

Yes. We don’t ask for complete payment in advance, but do ask for a £10 per player deposit in advance. You don’t have to pay for anything else until the day. Deposits are normally non-refundable.

Q. Is there a secure place for valuables?

Yes. We store all valuables for each group in separate boxes and locked away. We have had no security incidents ever related to customers’ valuables.

Q. What is suitable clothing?

We provide padded jackets and trousers, so keep this in mind. On a warm day, light trousers and a t-shirt or long sleeved shirt will do. On colder days, extra layers may be used, but can always be removed if you get too hot. Footwear ideally should include ankle support and a good grip, as our site has many different types of terrain. And remember, if it’s wet and muddy, light coloured or white trainers will no longer be that way by the end of your day!
